Guy Oseary, a longtime friend of mine and Madonna’s business partner used to come into the Supermax store to buy apparel. One day he asked if I could make some workwear styled crew jackets for her upcoming Girlie Show Tour and would later give me two pieces of artwork. I laid out a design and after a few revisions we decided on the final product, producing 25 jackets for Madonna and her dancers. 30 years later, using one of the original jackets she preserved in her personal archives, we’ve reproduced the exact same embroidered jacket for the recent Celebration Tour.
